Lauryl Glucoside is formed by reacting a 12- 14 carbon chain alcohol, lauryl alcohol, with a cyclic form of glucose.
Decyl Glucoside is formed by reacting a 10-carbon chain alcohol, decyl alcohol, with a cyclic form of glucose.
