General characterisation

Chemical Description: Coconut amine ethoxylate 

Product use: Wetting agent, cleaning agent, emulsifier. 

ARAPHEN K 100 is used for cleaners with degreasing properties, spray- and dip degreasing.

ARAPHEN K 100 possesses a slight cationic character and is mainly suitable as a wetting, emulsifying, and cleaning agent in acid media, such as acid technical cleaning baths. 

ARAPHEN K 100 is a very effective raw material, especially for cleaners with degreasing properties. 

ARAPHEN K 100 can be combined with nonionic and cationic surfactants. 

The compatibility with anionic products must be checked for each case. 

ARAPHEN K 100 is resistant to most chemicals at typical concentrations used. 

ARAPHEN K 100 is insensitive to water hardness.

ARAPHEN K 100’s specific surface active properties make them valuable bases and additives for the chemical technical industry.

ARAPHEN K 100 can be used to manufacture textile auxiliaries (e.g., products for dyeing), mineral oil additives, crop protection products and pesticides, raw materials for cosmetics, and adhesives. 

There are also other uses which are beyond the scope of this brochure.
