Properties
BRB Siloen SPB 1500 is a water-thinnable water repellent additive material for various types of indoor and outdoor coatings and paints.
BRB Siloen SPB 1500 is suitable to be used together with acrylic and styrene/acrylic dispersions.
When combined with water repellent silicone resin (BRB Siloen SPR 1550) it provides an excellent beading effect and diffusion effect into the masonry paints.
To obtain the best water repellency and beading effect the ratio 1–3% according to the silicone resin content will be enough.
BRB Siloen SPB 1500 can be used as an effective water repellent impregnating agent for brics, roof tiles, gypsum, plaster and other coatings.
Application
BRB Siloen SPB 1500 is completely miscible with water and all water based paints in any ratio.
The best quantity for silicone paints is 3-5% w/w.
Storage conditions
BRB Siloen SPB 1500 can be stored for at least 12 months in closed containers
BRB Siloen SPB 1500 must be stored at between +5 C and +35 C.
Packaging : In 200kg PE drums and 1000kg IBC
BRB SILOEN SPB 1500 is applied:
To provide the surface of materials with excellent water resistance properties – the surface does not absorb water;
To make the material frost- and corrosion resistant;
To reduce the pollution of surface;
In addition, the treated surface does not change its appearance, maintains air permeability – material is not sweated and retains the ability to output pairs. The water-repelling liquid is applied:
