PROPERTIES
EDTMPA (Ethylenediaminetetra(methylenephosphonic acid) is white crystal powder at room temperature, with melting point 215-217℃, easy dissolved in ammonia, but hard to be dissolved in water: the solubility is less that 5% at room temperature.
EDTMPA has a strong ability to chelate metal ions, and its complexation constant of copper ion is the largest of all chelating agents, including EDTA.

EDTMPA (Ethylenediaminetetra(methylenephosphonic acid) is a kind of high-pure grade reagent and innocuous, it can be used as detergent in semiconductor chip to prepare integrated circuit, as carrying agent for radioelement in medical industry, and as agent for inspection and therapy.
