Zinc Diethyldithiocarbamate

Zinc Diethyldithiocarbamate is a dithiocarbamate salt that is the zinc salt of diethyldithiocarbamic acid, and it is a Super accelerator for natural and synthetic rubber, especially for butyl rubber, ethylene propylene rubber, and latex.

Zinc Diethyldithiocarbamate is a Rubber Accelerator for rubber, latex, tires, and shoe industry.

Zinc Diethyldithiocarbamate is used as an activator and accelerator in natural and butyl rubber and natural and synthetic latexes.

Zinc Diethyldithiocarbamate is also used in rubber-based adhesive systems and as a stabilizer in cement.

Rubber Accelerator Zinc Diethyldithiocarbamate (ZDEC) is a fast-curing primary or secondary accelerator for NR, SBR, and EPDM.

Zinc Diethyldithiocarbamate (ZDEC) is used in natural and synthetic latex and is an antioxidant in adhesive systems.

Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate is an organometallic precursor used as an accelerator in the vulcanization of natural rubber latex films.

Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate is a chelating ligand. Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate is used as a typical accelerator for latex.

Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate is a fast-curing primary or secondary effective ultra-accelerator for natural and synthetic latex compounds.

Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate is often used as a secondary accelerator.

In latex, better results are obtained when combined with other types, such as thiazole accelerators.

It is used for rubber-coated fabrics, latex products, rubber cement, etc.

Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate (ZDEC) is one of the most commonly used accelerators in natural rubber latex technology because of the properties of the corresponding vulcanizates.

Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate (ZDDC), an organometallic compound, has been extensively used in scientific and industrial applications.

It is a white powder soluble in water and organic solvents and exhibits strong metal-chelating properties.

ZDDC serves as a catalyst and reagent in various laboratory reactions and processes.

Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate is a catalyst for synthesizing biomedically-relevant thermo-gelling polyurethanes.

Within scientific research, Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate has been harnessed across diverse applications.

It has facilitated the study of metal-catalyzed reactions, enabling the synthesis of novel compounds and offering insights into their properties. Additionally, ZDDC has been instrumental in exploring biochemical and physiological processes, including the effects of metals on enzyme and protein activity.

The interaction of Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate with metals leads to the formation of chelate complexes.

These complexes subsequently bind to proteins and enzymes, resulting in the inhibition of their activity.

Metal chelation by ZDDC also exerts additional effects, such as inhibiting specific biochemical reactions and modulating certain enzyme activities.

Special Applications of Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate:

Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate (Zn(S2CNEt2)2, ZDTC) can be used as an organocatalyst for the synthesis of high molecular weight polyurethanes from PEG- and PPG-diol macromonomers for use in biomedical applications.

ZDTC demonstrated outstanding activity in preparing polyurethanes compared to other zinc catalysts because of its tolerance to different organic solvents.

Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate can also be used for:

A catalyst for the polymerization of olefin oxides.

A precursor to prepare zinc sulfide semiconductor nanowires, which can be used as building blocks for photonic devices.

The ZDTC-catalysed biocompatible amphiphilic polyurethanes comprising PEG and PPG blocks form thermo-responsive hydrogels, which showed remarkably low sol-to-gel transition temperatures at surprisingly low concentrations in water.

Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate is an antifungal agrochemical in the crop protection industry.
